Hi Friends, it’s that time of the year again! It’s Easter !!!
What do you have in mind when it comes to Easter? Long weekend? Easter eggs? Easter bunny?

In Jesus Lifehouse Hong Kong, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus every Easter, but this year we are taking it to the next level ! We will be having our Easter Draw Something special service !!! There will be fun games, powerful worship and Easter message.

Remember to come early to paint Easter eggs, Easter eggs are available at 3pm !!!

Remember previously we talked about our awesome church service here at Jesus Lifehouse Hong Kong? This time let me introduce you to another important part of Jesus Lifehouse Hong Kong! It happens outside of our weekly church service, its as much fun as the church service, and it is called “Life Group” !!!

For where two or three are come together in my name, there am I among them. [Matthew 18:20]

In Jesus Lifehouse Hong Kong, we strongly believe that being in a Life group is very important to the growth of our Christian lives, and we see it as important as attending the church service and listening to your favorite sermon. And of course, Life group is a place where we get together and share what happened lately in our lives, and more importantly, it is the best place for us to learn, to share and to grow in Christ together as a group.

Life group takes place once a week, and apart from all the fun that we have, all the McDonald’s meals that we share, there is one particular thing we love to do every week in Life group, and that is to share our journaling.
What is Journaling you may ask? Good question! Journaling is writing down (or type if you’re a iPad lover like me) what God has been personally speaking to you through His word from the bible. Doesn’t have to be long, we share it every week in Life group and we learn to apply these Godly principles into our daily lives, and we love it !!!

Blue book + Green book

Sometimes in Life group we do Blue book or Green book studies. In short, the Blue book and the Green book are in fact written by our Senior pastor Ps. Rod Plummer in Jesus Lifehouse Tokyo, bilingually in Cantonese and English.
The Blue book teaches us how to get to know more about Jesus and becoming His friend, and the Green book helps us to equip ourselves to become a disciple for Jesus.
We go through different topics of the Blue book and Green book depending on the needs, the studies are simple and yet practical, lots of fun!

Hi everybody !!! Did you know on every Sunday, we have a super fun church service here at Jesus Lifehouse Hong Kong? It’s fine if you don’t, so now let me walk you through and tell you how awesome our church service is on a Sunday.

to kick things off, our awesome worship team starts their worship rehearsal in the morning.

as soon as we arrived at the church venue, we will have a quick team prayer meeting.

then it’s equipments setup time, everybody loves to help here at church.

we also love to meet with new friends here at church, who doesn’t want more friends?

at 3:30pm our church service officially starts, starting with awesome worship time, announcements and offering message.

soon after the offering message, it’s sermon time. Every Sunday, Ps. Richard shares the word of God with us in a vivid and yet fun manner, and what’s being said will be translated into Cantonese simultaneously, everybody loves it !!!

see? people are enjoying the sermon time.

not only the young adults are having a good time here, but we also take good care of the children here at Jesus Lifehouse Hong Kong, look at them having so much fun at the Kid’s Church.

after the church service we love to hang out with our new friends, nobody seems to want to leave because church is such a fun place to hang out.
